Jon Koomey from Lawrence Berkeley National Lab has an excellent video on You Tube where he delivers an indepth analysis of the benefits of energy efficiency in data centers. It is a great framework to think about how to deploy IT services in the cloud and the role of virtualization. It is hosted by Bill Weihl, Google energy czar, on the Google Tech Talk channel.
